Follow Friday #2 & TGIF #1

Q. Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?

This was pretty easy since usually I stop reading after the first chapter unless I love the book.
Yes dear authors remember First Chapter= Most Important Part Of The Book
I mean it should at least be attention holding!
Like this book for example, Sleepless By Terri Clark, the first chapter was really good which explains why I read it entirely.
But sadly the book was the worst I have ever read...So again my dear authors remember The Rest Of The Book= Also Pretty Important.

No Pressure though. :P
Anyhoo Check out my review of the book Sleepless By Terri Clark

This Friday's Question:

Blogger Confession: What's the last book you could not finish?
(or had a hard time finishing?)

So freaking many!!!

I have like a plethora of books I have stopped reading mid-way!
Of the top of my head..
The Book Of Luke by jenny o'connell (I might read this though)
The Diary Of Anne Frank( this is a little embarassing what with it being a literary classic and all but in my defence I was a kid when I had started reading it)
Lord Of The Rings( Okay I am officially hiding my face now!! I love the LOTR movies..okay..maybe "love" would be an exaggeration but I did like them...I mean I loved golum and his "my preciousss" and do I even need to mention Orlando Bloom!!Again however I could not finish this book..I read it when I was a kid and all I remember is that there was like A LOT of description of trees. O.o)

Obviously No Offence to the books I am sure they are all splendid..They just didn't catch my fancy.

  2. I'm definitely staying away from that book, Sleepless, thanks for the heads up. I had to read the Lord of the Rings trilogy backwards to actually get into (starting with the third one and than going to one), so you don't feel bad. Here's my hop:

  4. Hopping through. I read The Diary of Anne Frank when I was 10. I liked it at the time, but I re-read it as a teenager and liked it so much better b/c I was older.

  6. I'm completely with you on LOTR! I'm so glad they made good movies of the books so I don't seem completely clueless when the topic comes up.
